I'm Seb. I build the whole thing.
Online Olive is my studio. It exists because I kept building complete products on my own and needed somewhere to put them.
I live in London and work as a Senior Conversational Engineer — days spent on features, microservices, CI/CD and the unglamorous DevOps that keeps things upright. A design habit I never grew out of means I can take an idea from a sketch to something deployed without handing it to anyone in the middle, which is usually where the quality goes.
What comes out of that is a mix: client work like GAIL's Connect and Pillumina, studio products like Olive Grove and Nearbound, an iOS app running AI on-device, and a growing pile of developer tools that exist because something annoyed me on a Tuesday. 27 of them are catalogued here, and the status labels are honest — archived means archived.
Outside of it: DIY I have no business attempting, co-op games, and an ongoing interest in whether an autonomous agent will pay ten cents for a domain lookup without being asked twice. So far, it will.
Because online olive and onlineo.live are the same eleven letters, and once you have seen that you cannot unsee it. The rest followed: olives are cured rather than made, which is roughly how the good projects go.
London, United Kingdom
Founders, small teams, and anyone who needs the middle of the stack taken seriously
Product & interface
Working out what the thing actually is, then drawing it. Editorial layouts, real motion, and a design system that survives contact with the codebase.
Full-stack build
Next.js and React on the web, Flutter and Swift on device, Python and Node behind them. Typed end to end, tested where it counts.
Infrastructure & DevOps
AWS via SST, serverless by default, CI/CD that deploys on merge. Microservices when the shape demands it, a monolith when it doesn't.
AI that pays for itself
Conversational systems, on-device inference, semantic search and agent-payable APIs — with the unit economics written down next to the price.
